How to come to our farm?
The Suwan Organic Farmstay is located halfway between Udon Thani and Nong Khai in northeast Thailand.
Our farmhouse also benefits from a location close to the banks of the Mekong, a natural border with neighboring Laos. You will also find “the friendship bridge” less than 30 kilometers from our farm, a border crossing leading directly to the Laotian capital of Vientiane. We also offer an excursion to this neighboring country.
To reach our farm, several options:
– by plane (arrival at Udon Thani airport)
Bangkok – Udon Thani
Chiang Mai – Udon Thani
Phuket – Udon Thani
Pattaya-Udon Thani
-By train
Bangkok – Udon Thani
-By bus (VIP) night and day.
Bangkok – Udonthani
Bangkok – Nong Khai
Chiang Mai – Udon Thani
Chiang Mai – Nong Khai
If you arrive in Udon Thani, you will need to take a bus to Nong Khai. On the other hand, if you have a transport that takes you directly to Nong Khai, then no need to change.
Be careful, in any case you are not going to Nong Khai since the “Suwan organic Farmstay” is located before this border town.
You must ask the driver to drop you off at the Phen exit (there is a police station along the main road at this exit). This place is also called Nam Suai by some, so take note of these two names.
Once you arrive at this exit, you will easily find tuk-tuk for 100-150 baht (3 euros) which will take you to the farm.
Here is the Thai translation if you want to show the driver, because not everyone is fluent in English.
– There is also the option of minibus companies from Nong Khai or Udon Thani. As explained above, ask for the Phen exit, also called Nam Suai. And from there, take a tuk-tuk to reach our farmhouse. The Thai translation of the place is also visible above.
